Week 11 & 12

Boy I don't know where this month has gotten to!

Week 11 & 12 went by so fast that I didn't even realize it's been 2 weeks since I had posted.
In that time I finished up a Beginning Quilt class at the LQS. I was a fun class and the ladies are following up by signing up for my Open Sew to continue the learning process.

I also finished 3 client quilts and the raffle quilt for the Retreat we go to in April.
This next month is going to go by even faster. The first week I'll be down in Vancouver to vend at a quilt show. I come back and have a partial week to get things done as far as more inventory and client quilts Then the third week I set up on Wednesday for the Quilt Retreat. I will be teaching a class out there. So far I have 21 students signed up. The following week I leave for Odessa, Wa. to vend at another quilt show. I hope the pass is clear of snow then :-).

I also finished up some Reach for a Cure totes that I needed to do. Also, did some Pretty Pockets to go with the totes.

Made a small quilt top that can be used for either a table topper, or it's a great size that you can make some place mats out of it.  Even got the pattern written up.

Got inventory made for the shows. I made some machine covers and some scrapcatchers.

On the car front, I'm looking to have it back by mid April (I hope, I hope). All that's left to do is get everything hooked up to start the engine, put the bits and bobs back on, i.e. door handles, windows, knobs. The upholstery has been ordered and hopefully started on. The last will be the paint. TA DA!!!! (For those that wonder what I'm talking about. I am restoring a 1962 Ranchero.)

Well I guess that's it for now.

Weeks 9 & 10

It's been a little busy so I will try to catch up everything. I'm just going to post things in random than try to keep it on day to day. My poor little brain can't keep anything straight lately :-).

One day this last week I had 3 of the PTS ladies over for a class on the Necessary Wallet Clutch. We had a day long class and they brought over a pot luck lunch. We had Chicken taco Soup, fresh fruit and a wonderful jello dessert. Everyone finished their wallet. The next day I did one for one of the gals that works out at the LQS cause her birthday in this next week. Here it is.

I've also made about 6 more crumb blocks to add to the pile. Also, cut up a HUGE bag of batting scraps, Well I actually frankenbatted them together and then cut then into squares to use for the micro bowl holders. I also cut some into the size I use for my little tea bag holders.

Finished 3 customer quilts, one of which was 108" x 126" and I had to do the binding on it and 2 pillow shams.

The 2 Thursday's when BQB came over we worked on odds and ends things. The first Thursday we worked on the house exchange blocks for our little group. We are sort of cheating because we know what themes are for the year, so we are getting a jump start on them. Here's a sample of our blocks ( the top row is hers and the bottom row is mine).

She also worked on her Vintage Tin quilt.

I had cut out and made the blocks for a Yellow Brick Road quilt when we went to our ocean retreat at the end of January. I pieced the rows together on one Thursday, made the backing and binding so it's ready to be put on the longarm when I get a break.

I also cut out for 3 Sewing Machine Covers for inventory.

The first Monday of the month I was out at the LQS for Block of the Month.

I also had to replace my main printer. So that was a day shot, running to get one and then setting it up.

I know I've forgetton some things but----oh well.........Squirrel!
