Judy at Patchwork Times is doing a linky thing for finishing up UFO's for 2018. We will try for 12 months. Let's see how this goes :-).
1. Car quilt (Sidelight pattern).
2. Purple/green 5 yard quilt
3. Black/yellow Mystery Quilt (from quilt magazine).
4. Car quilt (Warm Wishes Pattern).
5. Abacus quilt. No Pic.
6. 2 1/2" squares scrappy quilt.
7. Hour Glass Scrappy (Bonnie Hunter leader/ended project).
8. Small quilt made in Mini of the Month Club.
9. Froggy Fishing Quilt.
10. Seahawks 5 yard quilt
.
11. Red/white/black quilt Vickie pieced for me. (No Pic.)
12. Mystery Quilt (JUQ)
I need find pictures of the 2 quilts listed (both are red/white and black). All of these need to be quilted, bound and labeled. I never seem to be able to do my own quilts since I longarm for clients. I always tell myself that after every 3 client quilts, I will do one of mine. Yeah, like that's going to happen 😁.
Well, that's it for now except to wish everyone a Happy New Year.

An Update ???
I know I've been gone for quite a while.
It's gotten pretty busy around here lately. Starting in September we've done 2 quilt shows, 1 craft show and 1 retreat. On top of that I've had my classes at the LQS take off. It seems that more people are getting to retirement age and wanting to learn to quilt. (Can you blame them ;-) ?) Now all I have to do is get the rest of my client quilts quilted by the 15th of December. Oh, and service 2 machines for clients.
I've also started tearing apart my "studio" for a GOOD clean up. AGAIN!!!! I keep saying "no more fabric," but somehow it isn't working ;-). I have got sooooo much fabric and I can't seem to help myself, cause I keep buying more. Does this mean I need an intervention? Ha, Ha. Never gonna happen.
I finally got my car finished. I've had it out a few times and it is just soooo much fun.
I've also been kept busy making class samples. I would post pics but I've got them hanging at the LQS. Maybe later.
I will try to be better keeping up, but----.
I am going to link up with Bonnie Hunter's On Ringo Lake Mystery. I haven't finished the last two but I hope to keep up with this one. I'm really loving the colors.
Well that's it for now.

Lots of Catch Up!!!!!!
Well have I been negligent in writing. Bad girl!
It has been a spring and summer of BUSY. Where do I start.
Let start with the car resto. Still don't have it in my possession. The "mechanic" that was doing the wiring just had too many excuses as to why he couldn't get it together. the car is sooo close to being done and I felt I was just getting jacked around. It finally came to a head last week. I ended up filing a complaint with the Attorney General and talked to an attorney (firm specializes in classic car litigation), Went back down to the Autobody shop this last Monday and I think we have it straightened out. The "mechanic" is no longer working there. He realized S**t was going to hit the fan and quit. I have a signed paper stating as to when the car will be done (August 9th) and if it isn't since I have the paper I will persue a breach of contract.
Here are some pics with it painted. Since then we have chrome back on and other stuff done like the upholstery. I will post those as soon as I transfer them to my files from the phone.
Let's see, what else. It's been since March for my last post. I have been to 2 quilt retreats.
The first one is the one I always teach at. This year I taught the Necessary Wallet Clutch. It went pretty well. Here is a pic of the wallet I taught.
At the other retreat that I did in Idaho I had a little project that we worked on. Took all of about 15 minutes. I think everyone enjoyed them.
This pic is not at Idaho. It is the April one. I didn't get pics in Idaho. This is the project. Head wraps for after shower. I did it as a little mystery and when I reveled it I said "now we will channel our inner Carmen Miranda." One of the younger gals sitting next to my friend leaned over and said, "Who is Carmen Miranda?" LOL
Of course my BQB and I are furiously working on inventory for the quilt shows. We have 2 coming up here shortly. One in September and one in October. One is in Ocean Shores and the other is in Longview.
She had also been coming to our Thursday sew day. We haven't accomplished much in the way of our UFO list. Although she has finished putting together her Vintage Tin. Now I get to quilt it.
I manage to finish up the Skull quilt that I was making for me. The problem is it sort of grew too big. When I posted a pic on FB my nephew saw it and wanted to know if it was for him. Guess what? It now reside with him.
I have also made a class sample for the new BOM starting next month at the LQS where I teach.
This is my newest endeavor.
That was a lot of fun.
On the health front. I'm fine. But it has been a little stressful because it seems that several of my friends have had something going on. Either them or their spouses. One friend lost her husband to cancer. Three others have either had a re-occurrence of cancer or have been diagnosed. BQB almost lost her DH in a ditch cave in. My DH had a fight with a chop saw, and the chop saw won. It wasn't too, too serious. He took a bite out of the tip of his finger. It was enough that he had to have a graft.
There are others, but I don't want to be a downer.
I sent a quilt off to a niece.
Then I made one for her fur baby.
Then I sent one to my other niece (her sister),
I have played some in the garden this summer also.
That's about it for this post. I need to get a quilt loaded and quilted. Gotta keep up with the quilting for clients before I get bogged down again.

Week 11 & 12
Boy I don't know where this month has gotten to!
Week 11 & 12 went by so fast that I didn't even realize it's been 2 weeks since I had posted.
In that time I finished up a Beginning Quilt class at the LQS. I was a fun class and the ladies are following up by signing up for my Open Sew to continue the learning process.
I also finished 3 client quilts and the raffle quilt for the Retreat we go to in April.
This next month is going to go by even faster. The first week I'll be down in Vancouver to vend at a quilt show. I come back and have a partial week to get things done as far as more inventory and client quilts Then the third week I set up on Wednesday for the Quilt Retreat. I will be teaching a class out there. So far I have 21 students signed up. The following week I leave for Odessa, Wa. to vend at another quilt show. I hope the pass is clear of snow then :-).
I also finished up some Reach for a Cure totes that I needed to do. Also, did some Pretty Pockets to go with the totes.
Made a small quilt top that can be used for either a table topper, or it's a great size that you can make some place mats out of it. Even got the pattern written up.
Got inventory made for the shows. I made some machine covers and some scrapcatchers.
On the car front, I'm looking to have it back by mid April (I hope, I hope). All that's left to do is get everything hooked up to start the engine, put the bits and bobs back on, i.e. door handles, windows, knobs. The upholstery has been ordered and hopefully started on. The last will be the paint. TA DA!!!! (For those that wonder what I'm talking about. I am restoring a 1962 Ranchero.)
Well I guess that's it for now.

Weeks 9 & 10
It's been a little busy so I will try to catch up everything. I'm just going to post things in random than try to keep it on day to day. My poor little brain can't keep anything straight lately :-).
One day this last week I had 3 of the PTS ladies over for a class on the Necessary Wallet Clutch. We had a day long class and they brought over a pot luck lunch. We had Chicken taco Soup, fresh fruit and a wonderful jello dessert. Everyone finished their wallet. The next day I did one for one of the gals that works out at the LQS cause her birthday in this next week. Here it is.
I've also made about 6 more crumb blocks to add to the pile. Also, cut up a HUGE bag of batting scraps, Well I actually frankenbatted them together and then cut then into squares to use for the micro bowl holders. I also cut some into the size I use for my little tea bag holders.
Finished 3 customer quilts, one of which was 108" x 126" and I had to do the binding on it and 2 pillow shams.
The 2 Thursday's when BQB came over we worked on odds and ends things. The first Thursday we worked on the house exchange blocks for our little group. We are sort of cheating because we know what themes are for the year, so we are getting a jump start on them. Here's a sample of our blocks ( the top row is hers and the bottom row is mine).
She also worked on her Vintage Tin quilt.
I had cut out and made the blocks for a Yellow Brick Road quilt when we went to our ocean retreat at the end of January. I pieced the rows together on one Thursday, made the backing and binding so it's ready to be put on the longarm when I get a break.
I also cut out for 3 Sewing Machine Covers for inventory.
The first Monday of the month I was out at the LQS for Block of the Month.
I also had to replace my main printer. So that was a day shot, running to get one and then setting it up.
I know I've forgetton some things but----oh well.........Squirrel!

Week 7& 8 Progress
Let's see if I got any more productive this week.
Sunday-came down and decided since I had given my 1200 a spa day yesterday, I really needed to make him a cover that fit better. So here it is.
I found a fabric from 1992. It was time.
Then I spent an hour doing some folding and straightening of fabric. Some even went into the bag that I have set aside for a lady that I give scraps and fabric to that makes charity quilts. I'm trying to get tough with myself and be realistic as to what I will really use in this lifetime.
I also got a client quilt loaded after lunch.
Monday-out at LQS for the Mini of the Month club. Also came home with 4 more quilts to do.
Tuesday-Started out doing the hour cleaning thing. Got some fabrics folded and sorted. Some went into the donation bag to the lady I donate to. Cut out 5 Reach for a Cure totes so I can work on those on Thursday during the Paws to Sew meeting. Moved some of my unquilted tops to the closet in the spare bedroom so I could use those shelves I cleaned off for the fabric that I have been folding. At least until I can go through the main shelving of fabric and weed out some of that. Then DH took me out for Linner (Lunch/Dinner). He also got me an Open Heart Pendant for Valentine's Day. Such a sweetie!
Wednesday-this morning did some cleaning and straightening upstairs for the meeting tomorrow. Then I came down and set up a couple of machines to be used at meeting. Also made sure everything was pretty much in it's place for tomorrow.
Thursday-meeting day. First BQB & I went for our walk. Stopped at JoAnn's cause she needed some things. Came back had lunch and then the meeting started. I did work on the totes.
At this point I have forgotten some of the rest of the week and we are well into the following week so I will summarize the rest.
I finished the client quilt that I had loaded on. Then I started making a couple of pillow shams for another quilt I have to finish off for another client. Got those finished and loaded on her quilt. This is going to take a while. It measures 108" x 126".
I also have been doing some "frankenbatting". This is joining batting scraps to make bigger pieces. I use these in some of my smaller items I make for the craft show I do.
I have also made more "crumb blocks". Finished up 3 Scrapcatchers for inventory. In between, DH and I went and had taxes done. Yay!
I know I'm forgetting some of the things I did but----------.
In the evenings I have worked a little on hand stuff, such as Vintage Tin and other things for inventory.
Well I guess that's it for now.

Week 6 progress
Well I got some things accomplished this week, but I think I could have done better. Just have to push myself and get off my lazy you know what.
Sunday-loaded another client quilt and got it done. Gathered stuff to take out to the LQS tomorrow.
Finished sewing the binding down on my quilt I finished Saturday.
Monday-no LQS today. Yesterday we got a foot of snow and they are closed today to keep everyone safe. Wouldn't you know----the first time in forever that I had my S*** together with everything ready to go and it's cancelled. Oh well. I guess better safe than sorry.
Tuesday-7:30 AM dentist appointment. Came home and started quilting one of my quilts. I told myself, this year, I'm going to do one of my quilts after every second client quilt. Also did a little embroidery work in the evening.
Wednesday-slow start to the day. Took Tessa to get her nails trimmed. Went downstairs and started writing up the pattern for the new block of the month that starts the first of March. Nothing like deadlines :-).
Thursday-BQB came over and we walked. came back and went to work. I finished trimming up some small pieces for the Mini of the Month Club. I also finished up the mini. Then I worked on some small zipper pouches I'm making for inventory for shows.
Friday-spent all day on finishing writing up the Block of the Month pattern.
Saturday-Came down and really wanted to do some of my stuff instead of loading a client quilt. I started by finishing the last two zipper pouches I didn't do on Thursday. Then I decided I had put off servicing one of my machines long enough. After all it is one of my favorites to sew on. Sooooo, I spent some time giving my 1200-1 a spa treatment. Then I changed out a Mocha 301 in a cabinet that I had picked up when we were on vacation last year. I had picked up a LBOW 301 (two toned) at retreat in October and I wanted to put it in that cabinet. Got that all taken care of. Also traced out a couple of small embroideries I want to have on hand as hand sewing projects in the evening. I guess I'll fit them in in between Vintage Tin, Snowflake hexies and a couple of other projects I've got going. Ha, ha.
Well that wraps up this week.

week 5 progress
I will start on Tuesday since I got back from retreat on Monday.
Tuesday-NOTHING done today. I sat down this morning after going for my walk and ended up taking a four hour nap. I blame it all on my dog and cat. They held me down and wouldn't let me get up and get to work.
Wednesday-this was a errand day. First went to the bank to get money to take to the place that I am having restore my project car. Came back through Yelm so I could drop off the new BOM quilt so they could get that hung. After getting home and having lunch, we left again to go to credit union, storage unit, Tractor Supply and Walmart. By the time we got home I had had it. Tomorrow it's back to the salt mines.
Thursday-BQB came over and we went for our walk. Came home and started in. I started working on a mini that is for the Mini of the Month Club at the LQS. Then I pressed all the leader and enders I had done at the ocean retreat. I mad a back for the cat fishing quilt finished from the weekend and started building a back for the frog quilt. I ran out of the leftovers so I need to find something that will go with it to finish out the back.
Friday-run around day. Went to Costco. That in itself is a half day project. Loaded and started on 2015 BOM Alternate from Gee Gee's.
Saturday-buckled down and finished up my quilt that was on the longarm. Loaded client quilt and got it quilted.
That's it for now.

Week 4 Progress
Sunday-cleaned up desk so I could get ready to do B&O Taxes. Can downstairs and just putzed around. Didn't really do anything. Oh wait----yes I finished writing up the newsletter for our little sewing group.
Monday-Filed B&O Taxes. Ran errands getting things together for the retreat I will be leaving for on Friday.
Tuesday-BQB came over and we went for our walk. Made binding for the tumbler quilt. Quilted tumbler quilt. In the evening I sewed the binding down on the quilt.
Wednesday-cut some more leader and Enders hour glass units. Made a trip down to check on the progress on the car. Getting a little disgruntled with how the work is going on it (or should I say isn't going on it).
Thursday-got everything packed up for the quilt retreat at the ocean this weekend. We leave tomorrow.
Friday-AT RETREAT!!!!!!!! First day I got 2 quilt tops done and started on another. I had everything pre-cut so I could just start sewing.
Saturday-finished third quilt top and completed another. Finished up about eight small coasters that I found just waiting to be finished in a pile of UFO's. Sewed up seven totes for the cancer center. And 12 mini duffels (for earbuds, change or whatever).
Sunday-put borders on some redwork pieces that I will change out on my wire stand. One of the ladies there gave me some corners that she had cut off of some blocks. I sewed them up and make a piece that could be a table topper, the start of a pillow case or maybe the top of a doggie bed.
Monday-return home.
Til later,
Hugs & Stitches,
Mary
