Design Wall Monday
I'm linking this to Patchwork Times for Design Wall Monday Report.
This is a project that my "Paws to Sew" group had as a challenge. We were supposed to have this done by April. I think I'm a little late.
Also over the weekend I did a little cutting. I cut 15 more Reach for a Cure totes (to be assembled). I pieced some flannel rectangles that were given to me.
This morning I finished sewing them together.
While watching QuiltCam with Bonnie Hunter I trimmed up some bonus triangles and pressed them so I can use them on some redwork pieces I'm doing.
I also finished putting the binding on the Labyrinth Walk quilt.
Today I finished quilting a client quilt. I also attached the binding to the top of the quilt.
Also, this morning I discovered some Quest for a Cure blocks that have been waiting to be made into a quilt. These were part of the Quest for a Cure Challenge blocks by Northcott. They were given to me (I actually received enough to do 4 small quilts) to make into quilts to give to my Dr's. office for patients receiving chemo. I worked on getting this much done today.
Right now it's square so I need to do something to make it a little longer.
That's it for now.

Thursday's Report
Here's the pics on the last 2 of my projects I've completed.
This is the D9P that I have quilted, bound and labeled.
This is the 5 half yard challenge that the groups that meets at my house did in 2007. This is quilted, bound and labeled also.
Yesterday was a run around day, doing errands. In the evening I worked on the binding for the Labyrinth Walk.
Today it's clean up the dungeon day cause the group will be here tonight for the monthly meeting.
I've also started quilting a clients quilt that has been on the frame since Monday. Can we say procrastinate ;-)?

Just a Note
Real quick post here. Just wanted to list what I've done the last 2 days.
Yesterday evening I finished the binding on the challenge quilt I noted before. Spent the day cutting projects.
Today I did more cutting on inventory stuff. I cut more Reach to Recovery totes, thread catchers and other misc. stuff. I also worked on getting my box of scraps worked down. I cut stuff into strips and squares, and if I didn't feel like dealing with it, I put it in a bag of scraps that I give to a lady for charity quilts. I have also started listing my UFO's on a database. Trying to keep stuff organized so I might know what to do next. This is hopefully my year to get some of these things DONE!
I'll post pics of the challenge quilt when I get them uploaded off the camera.
That's it for now.

Sunday's Work
After spending a lazy morning on Sunday (after making DH breakfast), I went down to the "dungeon" to do a little work. I loaded a small quilt that was a group challenge a few years back on the machine and got it quilted. I attached the binding to the top and it's ready to be hand turned under. I'll post pics later.
Then I cut out the pieces for a BQ4 quilt and packaged it up to take to Idaho. (Boy will I be sewing up a storm :-) ).
I then hunted up some fabric and cut out 4 more Reach for Recovery totes (and they're packed too).
Then I loaded a client quilt on the machine and it's ready to start any time I'm ready.
Today so far I have done some cutting for little projects or demos that some of the retreater's are going to demo while in Idaho. I've also been working on whittling down the box of scraps that I have. Some are cut into strips and squares and some I donate to a lady that does charity quilts for the homeless.
Well better get back to work. This was just a little "union" break.

Will I get this Accomplished?
I've said in previous posts that at the end of the month I will be going to a retreat in Idaho.
Here is a list of projects that I am taking with me.
Let's see how many I will get to.
1. Have approx. 40 Moth in the Window blocks to piece.
2. A Pam Mostek kit.
3. Walkabout quilt all cut and ready to piece (queen).
4. 30's Pinwheel blocks to sash and build into a flimsy.
5. Approx. 20 Farmer's Wife blocks that a cut and need to be pieced.
6. 5 Reach to Recovery totes that are cut and need to be assembled.
7. 6 Scrapcatchers cut out and need assembly.
8. Charm pack (several pack combined) that I will make a Disappearing 9 Patch with.
9. 2.5" strips of fabric that I will use "Thangles" on to make blocks that will be added to some "siggy" blocks from WASIQ that needs to be done.
Shall we make a wager on how many I get done :-). Who knows----I may just spend the time kicked back and read. BTW I'm also going to take some hand work too (just for down time). I may need to come home just to get some rest.

A Little Catching Up
A Little catch up on my doings this last week & a half.
A week ago Monday I was out in Yelm at Gee Gee's Quilting for the BOM groups. This is an all day thing from 9 AM to around 6:30 PM. The next day (and through Saturday) I put in 8 hours days at another local LQS (Trains & Fabric) for her Customer Appreciation Sale. BOY!!! was it busy. I then had Sunday off (sort of) to work on getting the next batch of Farmer's Wife blocks ready for this Monday out at Gee Gee's.
After that class I had an Open Sew with 6 students. 3 were working on the BOM from last week, 2 were learning to do the 4 sided placemat and 1 wanted instruction on needle turn applique. Talk about going in 5 directions at once. But, it all worked out fine.
Yesterday I loaded my Stack & Whack on to be quilted for a class sample. I finished quilting it this morning and putting the binding to the front.
I think what I'd like to start doing is everyday post what I get accomplished for that day ( or at least once a week). Hopefully this will keep me on track to get things done. My usual schedule has sort of been out the window since DH retired. Hopefully this will get me back on it.
Today's work:
Finished quilting Stack & Whack quilt
Sewed binding to the front of Stack & Whack
Started hand stitching binding down (about halfway through)
Cut strip sets for charity quilt.
Load client quilt on (baby quilt) and quilted it.
Applied binding to front of client quilt.
Let's see how it goes tomorrow.

I'm on a roll!!
I'm getting caught up on client quilts. I'm trying to get them done so I can actually do some of my own quilts (as you can see from the previous post). I only have one more quilt to do. I'll be working n that tomorrow.
Here's what I've done the last couple of days. (One of the one's I just finished I don't have a pic of. It was a Photo memory quilt for a clients Granddaughter's graduation.)
This client wanted an all over and since there were fishing flies in one of the prints I chose to do a panto called Ebb & Flow.
Cute 5 yard quilt that I did Wave on Wave panto.
I think I'll just spend the rest of the evening kicked back with feet up and chill.

June Goals and Such
Well I'm on a roll so I figured I would post my goals for this month.
First let's start with A Lovely Year of Finishes. I would like to get this top quilted and bound.
Next I will list Get It Done over at Patchwork Times.
1. The above Stack & Whack
2. The BQ pictured above. Quilted & bound.
3. D9P quilted & bound.
4. BOM from my little quilting group, quilted & bound.
And finally the 2013 New FO Challenge. Just something new to keep me busy.
I have started on Bonnie Hunter's Moth in the Window blocks using Homespuns. I have about 40 blocks cut.
That should keep me busy for a while.
