A Little Progress

This past Tuesday was the (sort of) end of a hectic and busy, busy time for me. Wednesday I thought I would get to quilt a client quilt. I did manage to get it loaded and then DH decides we need to go grocery shopping and other errands. By the time we got home I was out of the notion of quilting.

Thursday I went with a friend to the Quilting, Craft & Sewing Festival at the fairgrounds. What a day. I came home loaded down with a pretty heavy bag. Not all of it was for me (but about 80%). I did pick up some giftie stuff for friends also.

Today I did get to quilting a client quilt, and got it finished. I also loaded the next one on and will start on that in the morning. This evening after dinner I went back down and managed to finish piecing the last 5 rows of the D9P I've had on the flannel wall for a while. I have all the rows sewn together. I will not put borders on this, just a binding.

I also pieced a backing for the "Barns" quilt I finished a couple months ago.

I also sewed the inner border on Easy Street. Hopefully I can have this done before starting the new Mystery by Bonnie Hunter.

All in all I think I had a productive day.

That's it for now.
Til later,
Hugs & Stitches,
Mary

  1. I would say so! I love all the pretty fabrics in your D9P. I tend to get stalled in the making backings stage... it seems I have to be in the right mood to measure because the sewing part is easy~
